The INFOtrac Advanced Screen Designer offers a menu
driven, economical and practical tool, by which to tailor
INFOtrac to meet your exact needs. Whether you choose
to become proficient with INFOtrac, or rely on an
Authorized INFOtrac Partner to perform such customizations
for you, the ability to build screens and populate INFOtrac
with custom intelligent fields is readily available.
The INFOtrac Advanced Screen Designer lies at the
heart of INFOtrac’s ‘Profiles’
system (A Profile is one of INFOtrac four main ‘Views’,
and is accessible by clicking on the ‘Profiles’
tab on the right side of the INFOtrac screen). Through
Profiles, you can build tools that will help you control and
execute the significant processes that your business requires.
The Advanced Screen Designer allows for the creation of two
general types of Profiles: a ‘Flat’ screen’
and a ‘Multi-Record Table’ screen. It is through
these two types of highly customizable Profile screens that
INFOtrac enables the creation of incredibly tailored
software solutions that can perfectly fit your business’
needs.
The INFOtrac Advanced Screen Designer allows you
to setup pull down fields, reference other fields in the system
as look up tables, and work with high levels of security in
the development of your "Profiles", all through
its simple menu driven interface.
Adding fields to the system is a simple ‘point and
shoot’ process, and when you add fields to INFOtrac,
they are automatically built into the complete data base system
with no programming required. In addition, there are a host
of other functions that can be built into the “Profile”
system for true customization. Attributes that control the
access and functions of the fields will ensure you can not
only collect required data, but also use this data as an active
component in your business processes.
